Reset HTC EVO Shift 4G to Restore Factory Settings - HTC EVO Shift 4G may be a slider phone which mixes three.6” TFT electrical phenomenon touchscreen (480 x 800 pixels resolution) and a slide out full QWERTY keyboard. The show is provided with Corning gorilla Glass protection, HTC Sense UI, Multitouch, measuring instrument and Proximity sensing element. It uses android OS v2.2 (Froyo) –which is upgradable to v2.3—and armored with 800 MHz Scorpion central processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7630 flower chipset, 512 MB RAM, and 2048 MB rom. It includes 2GB microSD which might be dilated up to 32GB.

Hard Reset HTC EVO Shift 4G to Restore Factory Settings


There are two different ways you can reset your HTC EVO Shift 4G, via phone buttons (hardware based) and via menu settings (software based). Make sure to back up important data you have on the device before you reset it. Resetting the device deletes all data, including downloaded applications, and resets the device back to its initial state the state before you turned on the device for the first time.


Hard Reset HTC EVO Shift 4G via Menu Settings:


Press image > image and tap Settings Privacy Factory data reset Reset phone


Hard Reset HTC EVO Shift 4G via Phone Buttons:




  1. With the device turned off, press and hold the volume button down, and then press image.

  2. When the device’s display turns on, release the volume button.

  3. Use the volume button to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press image. (All data will be deleted from the device.)
